BELGIAN MALINOIS TRAINING | DAY IN THE LIFE

Owning a Belgian Malinois is hard work! We dedicate three hours of exercise, training, and mental stimulation to our 6 month old Belgian Malinois, Ryka.

Training usually consists of 1 hour sessions in the morning, afternoon, and evening. During this time, we will condition different commands we have taught. In this video, we focus on both hand signals and vocal commands.

We are not dog trainers. We are regular owners who are passionate about training our pup. It takes a lot of patience, consistency, and overall grit!

It ain't easy folks! Never get frustrated with your pup while training. You will project that energy onto your dog and it won't be fun for anyone! Keep the energy up but adding running, fetch, frisbee, tug, etc. into your workouts. As puppies, you want to make sure to keep the sessions short! Set your pup up for success by ending on a high note so they keep wanting to come back for more training! We are working on fuss/heel on the right, middle, and left side, as well as sit, stand, stay, platz/down.
